CLYDE, N.C. – MedWest Health System has earned a prestigious, national accreditation for some of its most widely-utilized imaging services.
MedWest-Haywood in Clyde and MedWest-Harris in Sylva have earned the American College of Radiology Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Accreditation and Computed Tomography (CT) Accreditation.

The accreditation involves a thorough peer-reviewed evaluation to ensure nationally accepted standards are met. The process includes assessing personnel qualifications, continuing education, quality control, quality assurance programs and the adequacy of equipment.
