Pain Management

MedWest Pain Center is located at the Swain Medical Park in Bryson City. Interventional pain services offered there include diagnostic nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, facet injections and rhizotomy, intradiscal electrothermal therapy, percuteaneous disc decompression for contained herniated discs, and discograms. 

Medical Director, Dr. Ed Lewis, and staff provide medical and psychological evaluation, diagnostic and therapeutic injections, and a variety of medical and surgical therapies, including long term medical management, for suffers of chronic pain.
